about us

We began our computer programming careers as developers with large corporations, advancing from coders to managers of complex projects and large staffs. But we always talked of owning a business of our own. In 2003 we made our dream a reality, started RMBWorks with a mission to provide quality, affordable website development to small business - the kind of businesses needing a professional web presence, but not needing to pay large web development company prices..

In 2006 we augmented our web development business by starting our own small eCommerce business, Rocky Mountain Amblers and learned first-hand all the myriad details that go into even the smallest of eCommerce business.

With two hands-on businesses of our own, we soon found that customers seeking small business website development were often just as eager to hear about how we ran our own small businesses as they were for website development. We added to our web development offerings consultation services on all the other pieces that go into setting up and running a successful small business enterprise.

When we started in 2003, our children were young, but over the years our sons have grown and, not surprising for children of two professional computer geeks, become techies themselves, specializing in graphics and various web development tools and languages. They keep us and our work young.
